National Account Manager, Advertising
The Public Service Network (PSN), a national media network built exclusively for the dissemination of social marketing located in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a National Account Manager with project management and advertising/media experience. The opportunity is available for an experienced, organized, and creative individual who can develop, manage, and execute strategic marketing and distribution projects for government and non-profit clients.
- Identify, pursue, and close government, nonprofit, and AOR sales opportunities to meet and/or exceed your annual sales quota.
- Project manage assigned accounts.
- Maintain an active sales funnel.
- Attend client meetings.
- Prepare new business proposals.
- Respond to RFP/RFQ/RFIs as needed.
- Prepare status and final reports for existing clients.
- Prepare status reports for management.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 – 5+ years of experience in media, government, nonprofit or commercial sales.
- Demonstrated business development experience.
- Superior organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Team-orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to skillfully manage direct client contact.
- BA/BS in related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Government or non-profit advertising project management experience.
- Business development experience.
